is that I totally underestimated how difficult it would be to find anything in white this time of year. After spending a ridiculous amount of time at the mall today-nothing! I must have tried on 30 tops and a couple dresses. No luck. Everything was either cream not white, see through, had a large slit that went down to my belly button, or made me look like a pirate. I tried to channel the “What not to wear” that I watched over the weekend but even that didn’t help. The who day wasn’t a fail though-I intended to just get my hair trimmed while I waited for my friend to meet me but I ended up getting my highlights touched up too and they look really good. I also had a blast with my friend and it contributed to our efforts to make the most of our last weeks together. I still have over a week to find something to wear so all hope is not lost.
Course-my life is not completely taken over by the superficial right now. Tomorrow is the BIG day and I’m pumped to be taking my “roll to the polls” pledge quite seriously by pushing there. It’s not too far, parking will be terrible, and Adam’s taking the Mini to work tomorrow. I’m hoping to go around 7am and will bring my trusty camera. Should any early morning riots or craziness break out-I’ll capture it! I’m also working on a couple of exciting interview opportunities that have popped up for my blog over on Disaboom. An author of a new book on living with a disability and an NBC associate promoting a Paralympics special (that will air this Sunday, November 9 at 2:30pm EST) have both agreed to answer a few questions. I’ll post their answers at the end of the week there (and the link here). Off to rest up for the big vote!

Sorry you’re having trouble finding an outfit, but I know you will. Good luck tomorrow and I’ll be thinking about you in the morning!!

Finding white is so hard if it’s not smack dab in the middle of summer! I’m sure you will find something pretty! Good luck tomorrow…fight your way through the crowd and vote vote vote!
